Activities for Numbers and Counting:
1. Have a conversation without using numbers
2. Read The History of Counting by Denise Schmandt-Besserat, 1999.
3. Learn how to perform addition and subtraction on the Chinese abacus.
4. Create an art piece that uses the numerals 0-9.
5. Know how to to convert decimal numbers to binary and vice versa.
6. Research individual numbers and counting questions to present to the class (I added in an art piece and limerick)
